That’s Not a Plant, Bo!

The first book in the Bo Gets It Wrong series

Bo knows exactly what a plant needs. Or at least … he thinks he does.

When Bo’s wonderfully wrong answer leads to one very unhappy cat, he discovers something important about AI: getting an answer isn’t the same as getting it right.

A funny first introduction to AI for kids ages 3 — 6.

Prefer storytime on paper? The paperback is available too.

MEET THE AUTHOR

Meet Shiney

Shiney Subhas writes funny, curiosity-led stories that help children make sense of big ideas.

With more than two decades in technology and AI, Shiney created the Bo Gets It Wrong series to help young children begin exploring artificial intelligence through something they already understand: curiosity, mistakes and laughter.

Her stories are built around a simple idea — children don’t need to understand how AI works before they learn to question it.

BO GETS IT WRONG

Big ideas.

Wonderfully wrong answers.

Bo is a curious little AI who is always ready with an answer.

There’s just one problem: sometimes he gets it wonderfully wrong.

Through Bo’s mistakes, children discover how to question answers, think for themselves, and learn what AI can — and can’t — do.

A playful first step into AI literacy for ages 3–6.
